This catalogue documents the Public Performance Series organized by Eyelevel Gallery which took place at Point Pleasant Park, Halifax, in 2011. The series featured local artists Allison Comrie, Andrew Maize, Barbara Lounder and Will Vandermeulen whose work in Point Pleasant Park wove together themes of the accidental audience, appropriation of public space, public engagement and the social and visual aesthetics of one of Halifax’s most treasured public sites.
